Anthem Kids Team

Join us as we seek to share Jesus' love with our kids from newborn through 5th grade during our Sunday morning gatherings each week.

What's Expected

There are five different teams to be a part of in Anthem Kids. All members of every Anthem Kids team must clear a background check, and a 12-month annual commitment is asked for each role.

Listed below are the different ways to serve in Anthem Kids:

  • Service Host

    You are the “face of the place” and the coordinator of the morning. From start to finish the Service Hosts care for the practical and spiritual needs of Anthem Kids. Your smile, calm spirit and confidence will set the tone for the morning.

    11:00AM GATHERING
    Report Time: 10:30-12:45

    PREPARATION
    Sunday morning only

  • Infant / Toddler Helper

    Loving arms to care for our littlest ones while their parents are in the main gathering. Your joyful service will allow the kids to know from an early age that Anthem Kids is a safe place for them to grow.

    Report Time: 10:30-12:45

    PREPARATION
    Sunday morning only

  • Storyteller / Teacher

    A teacher of God’s Word and a support to the small group leaders. Using the curriculum provided, you will communicate the Bible to our kids in a fun and age appropriate way. Your energy, love for the kids and dependence on the Holy Spirit will make the morning a success!

    PREPARATION
    2+hrs/wk to pray and prepare for teaching

  • Classroom Lead / Small Group Lead

    Provide your classroom with direction by welcoming kids and families as they arrive to your room, initiating transitions throughout the morning and then interacting with parents during pick up. You will also step into leading a Small Group. Your warmth, love for the kids and commitment to let the Holy Spirit work through you will create an environment where each child is known and can grow in his or her faith.

    PREPARATION
    1 hr/wk to prepare and pray

  • Small Group Leader

    Leader of a small group of kids and support to the Classroom Lead. Your warmth, love for the kids and commitment to let the Holy Spirit work through you will create an environment where each child is known and can grow in his or her faith. Throughout the morning you will have a smaller group of kids that you will be engaging with and leading.
