First Impressions

The First Impressions teams are the frontrunners for making people feel welcome on Sunday mornings. From serving coffee to restocking the restrooms, we aim at helping all guests attending our gatherings on a Sunday morning feel the love and care of Jesus.

What's expected

There are four different areas to serve on the First Impressions team: Coffee, Greeting, Ushering, and Transition. We ask for a 12-month annual commitment where you'll typically be serving once a month.
First Impressions Lead, Emily Kirk will be your report for the team and will provide required training for each position.

  • Coffee Team

    The Coffee Team gets to serve guests attending on a Sunday morning with a great cup of coffee. We want the guests in our church to feel valued and thought of whenever they join us.

    Total Service Time: 45 mins - 1 hour

    11:00 AM SERVICE
    Report Time: 10:45 AM & 12:30 PM
    Total Service Time: 30-45 mins

  • Greeter Team

    The Greeting Team helps create a welcoming environment at our Sunday gatherings. As a Greeter, we want guests to feel a sense of reunion when they walk into our front door (especially newcomers, who typically show up early and may feel a little awkward trying to figure out what to do next...)

  • Usher Team

    The Usher Team helps bring a sense of comfort and ease each week. As an Usher, we seek to help guests transition into the Sunday gathering as smoothly as possible, often by actively helping them find somewhere to sit.

  • Transition Team

    The Transition Team helps to make sure our meeting space is ready to receive guests by making sure the room, and the bathrooms, are tidy and presentable.
