Gathering in person
We are really excited for the opportunity, to once again, start gathering in person. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for this move and we are so thankful for your patience. We do believe it is very important to begin to gather in person as we can.
It's also imperative that we remember we are in the middle of a global pandemic. We have a responsibility to seek the welfare of our city, love one another, and most importantly honor and obey God during this time; which includes doing our best to adhere to our governing authorities unless they are clearly asking us to do something against what God’s word commands of us.
With this in mind, we will be adhering to the guidelines outlined here. We will meet each Sunday at 8:30am in the parking lot of Arcturus (the chapel). There is plenty of space for many in the lot, so we’ll be gathering on a "first come, first serve" basis — no registration needed to attend.
Masks - We know there are so many opinions and convictions about masks right now, but we ask that everyone attending wear masks as they come and go. Once you sit down, you are welcome to take off your mask. Just remember to mask up when interacting with others — mask to mingle.
Social Distancing - We will do our best to practice physical distancing, and we ask that you do the same. Waving, saying hello, air hugs are just a few ways to greet each other while practicing distancing.
Gathering Areas - There's plenty of space in the parking lot to remain socially distanced as you setup your seating area. There will also be an area for anyone wanting to tailgate. Parking will be available on the sides and towards the back of the lot. Additional parking available on the street off the chapel and on the other side of the park.
Prayer - We will have members of our prayer team available for anyone who would like to pray with someone after the message, just make sure to put on your mask before coming up to pray.
Kids - At this time, we will be gathering family style and ask that you keep your kids with you during the service. We will be handing out activity bags for kids to enjoy during our time together.
Chairs and Blankets - We are asking everyone to bring your own chair and/or blanket. If you’re attending with your family, we suggest using your blanket to help and establish the zone your family will stay in, this is especially helpful for kids. We will have tons of grace for each other as we start to figure these things out more and more.
Communion - We’ll provide communion so we can take it together, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like.
Being Outdoors - Feel free to bring your own shade for the parking lot; especially during these late summer months — it’s going to be hot!
