Hey Anthem Family!
I hope you’ve had a great week! We have loved our Easter season and felt such joy as the church gathered on Good Friday to break the fast together and then on Easter Sunday to celebrate the resurrection. The week continues as this Saturday we will be sending teams to serve in our community! Jesus set the tone when he said that he did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many... Well we have received his life and now we want to imitate his way — so we serve! On Sunday we will continue in John 1 at 9:30 under the tent! Enjoy your weekend, remember that everywhere you go you are carrying the name of Jesus, so let’s bring life into a hurting world!
We've loved engaging our city and neighborhoods with tangible displays of God’s love and compassion this week. Join us on Sat, April 10th to complete service projects at a local women's shelter and mobile home park.
We'll meet at 8:30am under the tent at Arcturus before heading to each of the locations.
If you have any questions, contact email@example.com.
When: Apr 10 @8:30am (meet under the tent)

Bible study methods class
We're excited to tell you that we are starting a Bible Study Methods class! Reading the bible is a major part of being part of the church, but sometimes it can be hard to understand or we feel like we hit a plateau in our understanding. If you would like to learn how to get more out of your bible reading, or if you would like some practices to help understand the bible better then this class is for you. Steve Larson will be teaching a 4-week class that will run weekly on Thursday evenings starting April 22nd at 7pm.
Please register by April 15th. We will meet at the Anthem office with up to 20 people. If we have more, we will meet it in the chapel.
If you have any questions, contact email@example.com.
The book of John is written so that everyone who reads it would believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God. As we study this amazing book together, we hope to grow in our understanding of Jesus’ life, teaching, death and resurrection so that we can live as his disciples. He is the way, the truth and the life... so we look to him to know how we should live!
Some ideas and resources for our time in the gospel of John:
- Read through the gospel of John in one sitting (approx. 2 hrs)
- Use a scripture journal as we walk through the book together; we'll have copies of this journal on Sunday at the welcome table if you would like to grab one.
- Sign up for the BSM (Bible Study Methods) class starting soon!
We are super excited to bring back our Welcome Lunches! This is a great place for people to get to know Anthem a little better. Join us on Sunday, Apr 25th, we’d love to hear your story and answer any questions you may have about ours.
Boxed lunches will be provided and kids are welcome. Please rsvp and let us know if you are planning to attend.
Hope to see you then!

Giving & Generosity
Giving At Anthem
Giving cheerfully and sacrificially is a part of worship at Anthem. We give generously because God has first been generous to us. We dream of becoming a church marked by radical generosity. Over ten percent of every dollar goes directly to supporting compassion and church planting work both globally and locally.
With Planning Center you can login at any time to view your giving history, make changes to your account, and update giving information.
