What's New
Hey Anthem!
I hope you’re having an incredible week. Kristen and I have been so encouraged to hear the impact that memorizing Romans 8 is having on our church family already. Psalm 1 talks about how the blessed person meditates on God’s law (scripture) day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water. When you put Scripture in your head and your heart you are able to draw from the life that it provides. I can’t wait to see how God uses this Romans 8/Easter season to shape our deep love for God as we grow as a devoted people. We are looking forward to this weekend of worshiping together, studying Romans 8:18-25 and celebrating more baptisms! Take a look at the details below on all of our upcoming experiences together (Prayer walk, all church fast, Good Friday dinner and Easter Sunday). See you soon!

Sun, April 2nd | 4-6PM
Join us on Palm Sunday as we walk the neighborhoods of our surrounding community to pray. Come with a friend, bring the stroller for the little ones and get ready for a great time of prayer together.
We'll meet at the Chapel at Arcturus at 4pm for a quick training and routes, then will all go out from there to walk for about at hour and pray. We'll re-group back at the Chapel for a brief time of sharing.
Let us know your plans to attend and if you will be bringing any kids along to help us plan for the night.

April 5th-7th
As we continue to press into what it looks like for us to live as devoted and dependent people, we are calling an all church fast this Easter season. We want to contend for the souls of those who don't know Jesus and for God to break down strongholds in our community.
We will send out devotionals and prompts as we stand together in prayer and fasting.
The fast starts at sundown on Wednesday and finishes with our meal together on Friday.
-
Fri, April 7th | 6-8PM
We will have dinner together to break the fast, worship and share what the Lord did during the time. Please let us know your plans to attend by Sunday, April 2nd so that we can best prepare for the meal (even if you are bringing your own meal).
If you would like to help with setup, teardown or serving, use the link below to sign up or contact Celeste at celeste@anthemchurch.org.
Moms Connect Park Days
Hi Anthem mamas!
We’d like to invite you to the park for a time of connection with other moms for you and play time with other kids for your child/children. There will be no formal program, but we hope during this time together you can connect with other moms in similar stages and also be encouraged by moms who have years of experience walking with Jesus and motherhood.
Meet us at Old Meadows Park from 9:30-11:00am. There is no need to RSVP every time, but if you could do an initial registration with the link provided then we will text out reminders and let you know if we have a change of location for any reason (if you registered last fall, you do not sign up again).
See you at the park!

teaching series
As we dive into this season of teaching through the book of Romans, our hope is that it brings profound Gospel truth and transformation into each person’s life. One of the best ways for that to happen is through the personal study and meditation on God’s Word. We set our teaching calendar in advance and the trust the Spirit if there are particular areas that need increased attention. So this calendar may alter a bit over the course of the series, but this should be a good guideline for spending time reading through and meditating on the Scriptures in preparation for our Sunday gatherings and community groups.

Baptisms are a celebration of new life, a celebration of the finished work of Jesus Christ, and a public declaration of the work of the Spirit in our lives. For those who call themselves a Christian, and have not yet been baptized, we'd love to chat with you.

One of the biggest joys we have as a church is seeing parents choose to commit to raise their children in a way that points them to their loving Savior Jesus, and helping them find their way back to God in their homes.
