Hey Anthem Church!
I hope you are having an amazing week! We are so excited to continue our time in the Torah with week 2 in Leviticus this weekend! Bert Alcorn will teach through what it means to approach God on his terms as we continue to look at being formed for presence. We are looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day together! We would love to invite you to join us on the patio between the 8:30 and 10:30 gatherings for some drinks, treats and flowers to honor the women in our lives!
In Thula news... For those of you that don't know, we are bringing in Thula Mbambo (Pronounced Too-Lah) from Durban, South Africa as our new worship lead. All paperwork has been filed and approved and Thula will be moving to the states on May 21st! Mario Schweizer and I will be heading to South Africa to join Red Point Church for Thula's final Sunday on May 18th. We are so excited about the future of having Thula on our team as we continue to press forward in living as a people of God's presence, sent among neighbors and nations serving as a hub for kingdom adventure!
We are so grateful for our life together as a church. We were SO encouraged by the incredible stories of God's faithfulness at All In Sunday! Huge thank you to all of you who shared and deposited such a gift of faith in our church!
Have a great weekend and we'll see you soon!
-Matt

Come and join the celebration of the work of Jesus with baptisms at Silverstrand Beach. We will meet up near the parking lot at the end of San Nicholas Ave. at 4pm and walk to the shoreline to the left where there is some space. Give yourself time to find parking as baptisms will look to start around 4:15pm. There will be times for people to share their stories and for the community to pray over them. You don’t want it.
If you would like to be baptized, we would love to include you in the party. Baptism is a celebration of God's work of saving you, forgiving you, and uniting you to himself through his death and resurrection. If you would like to get baptized, email Rob@anthemchurch.org
Date: Sun, May 25
Time: 4:00 PM
Where: Silverstand Beach, Oxnard, CA -
The Anthem YUGO missions team is busy preparing for the trip to Ensenada this June to construct TWO homes for local families. We are very excited for the work God is preparing for us, and we are excited to invite you, our Anthem family, to participate in the work and blessing of this trip through prayer and financial support.
In addition to the construction of the two homes, we want to fill each home with beds, a kitchenette, a power supply, and extra amenities so that each family will have the joy of walking into a new home completely ready and outfitted for family life.
The team will have an Information and Giving table on the chapel patio after each gathering during several upcoming Sunday mornings. Please come visit the table to find out more and prayerfully consider whether God is leading you to participate financially in this year’s mission.
If you have any questions, please email Andrew Van Gundy or Doug Graham.

Leviticus may seem like the Bible’s strangest book, but at its core is a stunning reality: God makes a way for His holy presence to dwell with His unholy people. Check out the series resources, bible reading plan, and companion booklet to join in with our study of Leviticus!

Hello Anthem Church! As God continues to bless our church with growth in many different areas, we're feeling the need to add one more person to our staff team to help us with a host of administratively oriented items. We would love to have someone who could commit up to 20 hours per week (primarily in the office, but some work can be done remotely). We'll list out some of the responsibilities in a linked document below, but if you're a part of Anthem Church, have had other people affirm an administrative gift in you, and are available mid-day throughout the week, we would love to chat with you! We're hoping to have the right person in place soon, so please feel free to reach out quickly!
For more information, or to schedule a conversation to see if this would be a good fit, email Ryan Hinkle at ryan@anthemchurch.org.
