Good morning Anthem Church!
I hope you've had an amazing week. We have an exciting week coming up. This Sunday one of our "sent" stories will be joining us: our friends who have embedded themselves in Southeast Asia, leading a business and bringing the name of Jesus in a powerful way. He will be preaching and there will be an opportunity to meet up in the afternoon to hear more about God has been doing. We love this partnership and are so excited to hear how God is moving.
We have our second worship night of the summer happening on Thursday night in the chapel. We'll meet from 7-8 for a time of worship, seeking God's presence together. We would love to see our heart for worship continue to grow as a church, this is a great opportunity to step more into that space.
We hope you have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Please save the date! We know that September can get super full, so we want to make sure you are aware of an important invitation coming this fall!
As you may have noticed, over the past few years we have not done a lot to answer the question, “How do I become a member of Anthem Church?” While we have had membership in the past, we have been taking time to rethink what it means to be members with Anthem in the season that God is calling us into. In this next season, as we continue the mission of helping people find their way back to God, we have set out to “live as a people of God’s presence, sent among our neighbors and to the nations, serving as a hub for kingdom adventure.” We are so excited about what God is doing and what He has ahead, and we want to explore what it means to do that together as “members one of another” (Eph 4:25).
So this fall, we will take 4 weeks on Sunday mornings to teach through just that! As a follow-up, we are inviting each person who calls Anthem home to come to a night together with the elder team on either September 21st or September 28th. There will be lots more info to follow as we begin the teaching series in August, but for now, we ask that you would set aside one of those evenings to join us! If you have been with Anthem for years and been through a membership process before, this is for you too. We would love to invite you to hear how things are being shaped for the season we are in now. -
Numbers is a sobering account of how God’s people repeatedly rejected His presence, turning blessing into rebellion. What begins with hope—a camp organized around God’s glory—unravels into grumbling, doubt, and outright defiance. Yet even as Israel resists His leading, God remains faithful, calling them forward with both judgment and mercy. Numbers challenges us to examine our own hearts: Will we reject God’s presence through fear and discontent, or will we trust that His presence is our greatest blessing and the only way home?
Check out the series resources, bible reading plan, and companion booklet to join in with our study of Numbers!
