Mar 21-27
Welcome to Anthem, a church community following Jesus in the beautiful city of Thousand Oaks, helping people find their way back to God. If you have any questions, would like more info, or simply want to connect with someone, take a moment and fill out our connect card.
Hello Anthem Church!
It is so good to be back home and I can't wait to be with you all this weekend. I'm looking forward to sharing a few stories from our time away and hearing from you about the prayer room and what God is shaping in this season!
This Sunday I'll be teaching our second week in Exodus -- Redeemed for God's Presence. In addition to that the prayer room will be shifting focus on Sunday from Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name to Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We are excited to be praying into this picture of the coming kingdom of God and our participation in God's work here on earth. If you haven't been in the prayer room yet, I would love to encourage you to look ahead and book your time. It has been amazing to see the church praying so diligently over these last few weeks!
We will share more on Sunday, but at 1 month away from Easter Sunday, we are going to continue building our teams to serve on Easter helping to bring our community together to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus! Please be praying over our Easter Sunday and how you might be able to contribute to the teams serving leading up to and on the day!
Thanks everyone, can't wait to see you this weekend!
Matt

This year we are calling the church to 40 days of prayer leading up to Easter Sunday. Our goal is to fill the prayer room from 5 AM to 10 PM every day for the 40 days of Lent (excluding Sundays).
Our hope is that we take these 680 hours of prayer to set in rhythms of dependence and devotion expressed in prayer. This is a corporate project of discipline, not only of growing our prayer muscle, but it is also a project of seeking God to open doors to reaching people in the Conejo Valley with the Gospel.

We are gathering our worship & tech teams to worship, pray, seek God together, and gather for a crucial moment to align our hearts, deepen our relationships, and set the course for the worship culture at Anthem Church.
This gathering is for:Anyone on our worship team
Anyone on our team team
Anyone interested in joining our worship & tech team
We believe that leading worship is more than playing notes or hitting cues—it’s about exalting Jesus, leading people into His presence, and embracing His faithfulness. Whether you sing, play, mix, or support behind the scenes, you play a vital role in helping our church encounter Jesus and enjoy his presence.
Our aim for the night will be:Worship & pray together as one team
Catch the vision and direction for Anthem’s worship culture
Build meaningful connections with the people you serve alongside
Hope to see you there!

Hello, Anthem Church! Here’s a look at our financial report for February.
After a great start for the year financially, February was a bit of a step back. We had several anticipated expenses that came through this month (starting to pre-pay for some of our bigger Easter rentals, travel for leadership opportunities, annual payments for services, etc.) and also were below our anticipated giving numbers. Praise God for the reserves we are able to fall back on when things are a little lean!
We’re incredibly grateful for God’s continued generosity and the financial position He has placed us in!
As always, we’re an open book! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to ryan@anthemchurch.org—I’d be happy to connect.-Ryan
